Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic we have examined various impacts this time has had on the pediatric population. In recent months, the Charting Pediatrics host team has received multiple emails from pediatricians around the globe who are observing increased number of patients struggling with health weight stigma and eating disorders as the pandemic lingers on. The clinical experiences and observations of our colleagues writing in inspired today’s discussion with Jennifer Hagman, MD and Matt Haemer, MD.

Dr. Hagman is Director of the Eating Disorder Program at Children’s Hospital Colorado and Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Dr. Haemer helps lead the Nutrition team at Children’s Colorado and is Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Nutrition at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
